BASL is pleased to announce the next talk in its educational webinar series.  The title of the next webinar is “Approaches to Stricturing Biliary Disease in 2025”  The experts will be Dr Emma Culver (Royal Free London) and Dr George Webster (University College London).

BASL hold regular webinars (held via Zoom), aimed at promoting education and sharing knowledge amongst clinicians who look after patients with liver disease.  The webinars will cover a wide variety of topics, delivered by expert clinicians from around the UK and the world.  The talks are aimed at consultants, trainees, nurses, clinical nurse specialists, dieticians and pharmacists.  Nursing and medical students are also welcome to attend.

Each session will comprise two experts and two co-chairs  who will host the meeting.  There will be presentations followed by discussion and the opportunity to ask questions remotely. The webinars will be free to watch live by both BASL members and non-members following registration.

HCC-UK invites delegates to register for the HCC-UK Annual Conference 2025 and submit an Abstract.

This is an in-person event only which will allow for great networking opportunities, an opportunity to speak with world-leading experts delivering the programme and as well as interacting with industry to find out about the latest advancements within HCC.

Dates: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th March 2025
Venue: The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester

Calling all hepatologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, palliative care and nurse specialists, along with scientists and everyone involved in caring for patients with HCC.

HCC-UK comprises professionals from multiple disciplines interested in improving outcomes for the increasing numbers of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The organisation primarily hosts this conference and forms a network of expertise in the research and treatment of HCC.

Abstract Submission Open!

We invite authors to submit abstracts for the event.  If you would like the chance to present your latest research on one or more of the topics below please submit an abstract for review:

• Clinical Research

The quality in previous years has been outstanding and we hope to receive more top submissions for the 2025 event.

Abstracts will be judged by a selected panel of reviewers following the submission deadline and submitting authors will be notified as to whether their submitted abstract has been accepted.
