  • BASL Annual Meeting (up to 500 delegates)
    The BASL Annual Meeting is the highlight of the BASL calendar and the main UK liver meeting. Eminent UK and overseas speakers deliver an informative and exciting meeting over three days, with the addition of key lectures and lively debates.   • BLTG Transplant Meeting (up to 150 delegates)
    Since 2014, the British Liver Transplant Group has held an Annual Transplant Meeting which is usually held during the BASL Annual Meeting.  The meeting usually runs on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.  In 2020 the BLTG are planning two webinars that will take place in October and November.  To find out more about the webinars and how to support them, contact .
  • BLNA Annual Meeting (up 100 delegates)
    The BLNA Nurse Meeting usually takes place during BASL on the Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday. In 2020 the BLNA are holding a virtual meeting on the afternoon of Friday 25th September.  To find out more about the meeting and how to support it contact .
  • BVHG events (up to 70 delegates per meeting)
    The British Viral Hepatitis Group (BVHG) aims to improve the management and study of patients with chronic liver disease. The BVHG organises two one-day events during the year bringing together a range of specialist healthcare professionals. Key Sponsor and Supporter sponsorship opportunities are available.   • BASL School of Hepatology and School of Transplantation meetings (2 seperate events per year) (40 delegates per meeting)
    The purpose of the School is to explore and teach the current pathophysiological basis of therapies in liver disease, as well as guideline-based investigation and treatment. The target group is trainees in gastroenterology, hepatology and transplantation. Speakers are leading experts with two to three speakers in a given area. The format of the School is didactic lectures - state of the art, workshops and case studies. These are interactive meetings and highly rated by attendees. Please contct for more information.  

Provision of a travel bursary for a national meeting

BASL can administer a bursary on behalf of industry to support specific groups to attend liver meetings such as the BASL Annual Meeting and the BLNA Nurse Meeting.
